1996

1996 was the year that Empire bought out the "Marchon" company;  that previously had the horses till the spring of 1996.

In 1996, the horses started appearing in different poses, different breeds, and new varieties of horses were created; minis, Sound N Action, and Feed N Nuzzle.  The bio card than turned to a blue color instead of white.  In this year the blue ribbon horse began to change off and on till Empire was bought out in the fall of 1999.  This was a very interesting year for collectors.

Some of the horses from the previous year, was released again this year, and the packaging changed, as well as the bio cards they had changed from white to blue.
